About the club
A walking club with one route, one day of the week and one destination.
The Kalk Bay Kreef Crawl is named for the crayfish, kreef in Afrikaans, and for the pace at which we cover the coast between Muizenberg and Kalk Bay. We walk to enjoy the morning, the sea and each other's company, and we finish where Kalk Bay's fishing boats come in.
A club that does not quite exist
This club is fictional. It was created to demonstrate Indaba, a website and newsletter platform for clubs and societies, built by TechnoCore. Everything about the setting is real: Muizenberg, St James, Kalk Bay and its harbour. The club, its members and its Sunday walks are not.
Indaba gives a club its own website, with pages like these, an events calendar, a members' area and a newsletter modelled on the Wynpress, the weekly newsletter of the Rotary Club of Wynberg.
